Since 2021, we’ve been working with the ANWB on perhaps their biggest move yet: a completely new headquarter in The Hague. A place where members, visitors and colleagues will naturally come together in a bright, open environment that invites meeting, collaboration and discovery.

Plotting the Route to a New Headquarter

We had the opportunity to create something truly new: a sustainable and welcoming building with a generous public layer. Here, an espresso bar, co‑working space, theatre, children’s bike workshop and ANWB store come together with multiple work floors offering a wide range of work and meeting settings. The interior design is clear, fluid and friendly. Fitting for an organisation that quite literally stands in the middle of society.

Steadily rising and increasingly visible

Together with project partners such as Provast, MVRDV and J.P. van Eesteren, the new ANWB headquarters is now visibly taking shape above The Hague. Day by day, the contours become more tangible: floor plates and voids appear, and the last parts of the façade are being installed. What once lived on the drawing board is becoming a vibrant workplace for the future. A place where the ANWB’s mission, helping people travel safely and confidently, will soon be felt inside the building just as much as out on the road.
