New project: Nationale Nederlanden

Nationale Nederlanden is an international financial services provider with a leading position in the Netherlands. The offices in Rotterdam and The Hague are set in two iconic buildings: Delftse Poort and Haagse Poort. Both were constructed at the start of the 90’s. In line with the innovations in ways of working and ambitions to contribute to a more sustainable environment, both office buildings will be refurbished. For the joint project scope of 42,000 m2, Fokkema & Partners Architecten was selected and is currently developing an enticing concept and interior design with focus on circular design and wellbeing. Our aim to raise the bar at the current themes will result in an inspiring, innovative and agile work environment with optimal user satisfaction and energy efficiency. The design is scheduled to be finalized this year, with the start of construction in the spring of 2020.
