The double story extension has an all glazed facade with slender detailing. Window frames are integrated in the floor, ceiling and walls as much as possible, making the transition from inside to outside very smooth.
Construction to carry the weight of the facade above is carefully dimensioned and designed to make sure all lines and corners align perfectly, creating a clear architectural shell. A void draws in more natural light for a large living kitchen on the lower floor.
The interconnection of spaces has affirmed the flexibility of this 100-year-old residence to adapt to the changes in the way we live and work in our own, personal style.
