At the heart of the office, a striking pavilion serves as a central gathering point, subtly bringing the outdoor feeling inside. A distinctive ceiling design enhances the sense of openness, transforming what was once a closed-off space into an inviting social hub. Warm, residential-style lighting, soft furnishings, and open shelving contribute to a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. A concealed bar allows the reception area to transition effortlessly into a lively meeting space after hours.
Flexible Spaces with a Skyline View
The meeting rooms, designed with large pivot doors, offer flexible configurations while maintaining uninterrupted views of the Amsterdam skyline. This design choice fosters a dynamic environment where the pavilion itself becomes part of the ever-evolving cityscape of Amsterdam.

Material Harmony: A Refined Palette with Subtle Industrial Echoes
A carefully curated selection of materials reinforces the office’s refined aesthetic. Wood veneer, natural stone, and two-toned carpeting create a layered and cohesive interior, while a restrained grey color scheme subtly ties everything together. Honest materials and refined textures subtly reference the industrial sector in which HabrakenRutten operates. The custom wooden panels in the cabinetry integrate graphic elements for added visual interest. This understated palette, distilled to its essence, is enhanced by a thoughtfully designed lighting concept that transforms the space after dark—far beyond the conventional office setting.
