The Upfield Food Science Centre has broken ground
On Wednesday the 21st of October 2020, construction has begun on the new Food Science Centre for Upfield in Wageningen. The building was designed according to an inside out approach. It features a timber facade with lots of green, reflecting the company mission. Building core & shell are designed simultaneously with the interior for the global manufacturer of plant-based nutrition.
Upfield Group CEO David Haines said, ‘Today marks our commitment to the future of plant-based food and packing innovation.'
The new Upfield Food Science Centre has been designed to maximise opportunities to work collaboratively, with areas that will support Upfield’s broader ambition to develop innovative new products and packaging.
